Do you have a physical store?
We are an online store only, our model allows us to use of our resources for excellent customer service. You can reach us by phone, chat or email.
Do you offer installments?
Playful Rides offer installments through Affirm. Go to the checkout page and click on Affirm to apply.
How much is the shipping and delivery fee?
Shipping and delivery are FREE when you purchase a scooter or E-bike on our website.
Are there any items for rent?
We only sell e-bikes and scooters.
What is the return policy?
The return policy may be different for each scooter or E-bike. Please see the products page for the return policy.
Do you deliver internationally?
Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally.
Are your products rainproof?
Most of our products are waterproof, but for safety and products’ best performance, we suggest you ride your e-bike when it is not raining.
How long will my order take to arrive?
It takes 7 to 10 days on average to get your e-bike or scooter.
If something is out of stock, can I backorder or special order it?
You can backorder. If we know when we will get the next shipment. Please call us and we can let you know the status and put your name on a waiting list.
Can I place my order over the phone?
Yes, you can. We are in the office from 10 am to 6 pm EST.
Do you accept insurance?
At this time we do not accept insurance.
Does my credit card get charged when I place an order or when the product is shipped out?
When you place the order your funds are put on hold. Once we have verified that your product is in stock, your credit card is charged.
Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Order Shipment:
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at info@playfulrides.com
Damages:
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to info@playfulrides.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
Cancellations & Refunds:
All orders canceled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped. If your order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order. The refund policy for each product is on the product page. Please see the product page for the specific refund policy for each supplier.
