Twist shifters give you more control by allowing the rider to change gears without taking their hand off the handlebars. This is very beneficial when navigating rough terrain.
Many mountain bikers and casual riders prefer flat pedals paired with a a comfortable pair of shoes. This combination provides sufficient grip and control. Flat pedals are the easiest to use when mounting and dismounting.
The FM 750 comes standard with tons of great features. The 750-watt motor and 48-volt LG battery will easily meet the challenges of off-roading and urban riding. The Shimano 8 speed drivetrain and disc brakes give you maximum control for hill climbing and advanced trails.
Tektro mechanical disc brakes offer superior control in all riding conditions. The smooth operating disc brakes generate an incredible amount of stopping power. These brakes do most of the work to prevent hand muscle fatigue on long rides.

Bicycle Lifespan
Fission Cycles™ eBikes have an expected lifespan depending on the level of care and/or use. Misuse, neglect, and abuse will significantly reduce the expected lifespan of your bike. Some types of riding styles - competition, jumping, downhill racing, and extreme conditions or climates - will all impact the lifespan of your bike and its components. These types of riding may cause premature failure of your bike and its components. This warranty does not extend to any failures associated with this type of riding, or to any Fission products that have been subject to misuse, neglect, abuse, or improper storage, or if the product is modified or altered in any way other than as directed by official Fission Cycles™ instructions. Always have your bike periodically inspected by a qualified bicycle technician. These inspections are crucial for the safety of you and others around you as well as extending the lifespan of your Fission eBike.

Shipping of the items is 1 to 2 days. We use different couriers, however UPS and FedEx are used the most. Delivery time is from 3 to 7 business days depending on the courier and location. Due to the impact of Covid-19, it may take longer than usual to fulfill orders. This is an issue in most industries, including ours. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these hard times. We would like to remind you that we do not have control once the item is already endorsed to the courier. We will always provide you with the tracking number and will update you through email. Warranty
Beyond the lifetime frame warranty, Fission Cycles™ warrants all bikes, enclosed hardware (where applicable), and accessories to be free from defects in material and workmanship for twenty-four months from the original date of purchase. Some components on your Fission eBike such as brakes, tires, tubes, chains, grips, motors, and cables are not warranted against normal wear. If you find a product to be defective, contact Playful Rides LLC at info@playfulrides.com or 888-449-8907. All components must be returned at the owner’s expense for inspection. Product repairs and/or updates not covered by warranty will be provided at a set rate. At its sole discretion, Fission will determine whether the component will be covered under this warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. You may have certain legal rights that extend beyond this warranty in some states.
Terms and Conditions of this Limited Warranty
This limited warranty does not cover installation, disassembly, adjustments of components, normal wear and tear, damage caused by improperly installed parts or components, installation, and use of aftermarket accessories or storage fees. Any installation of a powerplant (motor electric or internal combustion) other than powerplants supplies directly by Fission Cycles™ immediately voids this warranty. Some parts and components may from time to time become obsolete or discontinued. We reserves the right to substitute any component at its sole discretion. This is the only warranty provided or honored by us, and no other warranty will be honored unless specifically provided for by law. No implication of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose has been made by us.
If your product is shipped to you and arrives damaged, please contact us directly by phone or e-mail within 3 working days from the date of delivery. Please note that any damage caused by shipping is not covered by any warranty, however, a claim may be filed with the shipping company and we will work together to resolve damaged goods on arrival. Minor scratches to components don’t necessitate replacement or any refund, but for major aesthetic damage a credit may be issued, or replacement sent if the item is functionally damaged. We will not cover any damage caused when owner sets up their own shipping option including using a freight forwarding or similar service.
Fission Cycles™ reserves the right to determine if the product has been operated in accordance with the products intended use and whether user error and or neglect is the cause for the product damage or failure. Fission Cycles™ may require video and photographic submissions to review each warranty claim.
This warranty shall be effective only if all the following conditions are met:
If the bike was purchased directly from Fissioncycles.com or one of our authorized retailers.
If you are the original and first owner of the bike (warranty is not transferable).
If the bike has followed all intended use purposes.
If the electronics have not been repaired or modified.
If the bike was assembled or reviewed prior to use by a bike mechanic.
Damages resulting from improper assembly are not covered by the warranty.
Rider and purchaser is 18 years of age or over and possesses the legal capacity and authority to purchase and ride an eBike.
Maximum total weight of rider including any cargo is at all times below 275lbs.
How To Handle Warranty Claims
We will cover labor and parts within the 30-day period after purchase. Our credit for labor is based on a standard fee schedule for bike repairs and could be higher or lower than the cost at your local bike shop. You must wait for us to ship warrantied component rather than replacing on your own. Please allow 1-3 weeks for shipping replacement components. It is the owner’s responsibility to immediately inspect your bike on receipt, within 3 days. Freight Claims are time-sensitive. To quickly resolve the issue the owner must send an email with a photo and/or video if appropriate to. We will make any necessary repairs to remedy the situation.
After a 30-day free repair period, We will ship replacement parts within the year at no charge. The owner will be responsible for labor. Warranty parts will be shipped in the U.S. only at our cost. It will be necessary to send an email with a photo and or video as appropriate to info@playfulrides.com so we diagnose any issue.
We reserve the right to make judgment determinations of proper use based on the evidence provided and may require additional photos and or videos of the item or issue in question.
Returns
Fission Cycles Return Policy
Fission offers a 30-day return policy on our electric bikes. Within 30 days, if you are not satisfied with the bike for any reason, please contact, Fission Cycles to schedule a return. We will provide you with the correct address and other important information. When we receive the returned bike and complete an inspection, Fission Cycles will issue the customer a return. The bike must be returned in the same condition that it was delivered to receive a 100% refund. In the event that the bike needs repaired or cleaned, Fission will deduct these costs before issuing the refund. The buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. The buyer is also responsible for safely packaging and returning the bike to us. Failure to safely package the bike that results in damage will be deducted from the refund. We suggest keeping the original packing material and box until you are sure the bike is the right fit for you. This way you will be able to safely repackage and re-secure the bike for return shipping.
Returns are only available for customers ordering in the United States within the contiguous 48 states.
Returns are not available on batteries or accessories.
Cancellations
If an order is canceled during or after it is processed for shipment, or returned to sender, it will be subject to a $150 fee. Anytime a bike is returned without being opened, tested, or inspected it will be subject to a $150 restocking fee.
VERIFY SHIPPING ADDRESS and delivery date. If the carrier cannot deliver the product to the address provided, you will be charged up to a $200 fee for the product to be resent or returned and restocked in our inventory. We will deduct the fee from any potential return.
